In the manor house Neukladow, I painted a series of oil paintings. The theme was the dissolution of the boundaries between interior and exterior space. First, I painted the view from inside the house looking out onto transparent silk. Then I changed my standpoint and painted the view from outside looking in over it. I used translucent layers of paint for this. Both views merge in such a way that one no longer knows exactly what is inside and what is outside. Later, I visited the manor house again. I created a new series of pictures about the changes over time. The works of Max Slevogt about the manor house inspired me. First, I reproduced his paintings as the first layer. Then I went there myself. From the same position, I painted the current manor house and the garden over it as the second layer.
